Sign-in alerts on new devices

Account & billing·2 min read·Updated 2 months ago

If a device signs in to your account that has not signed in before, Voysey sends you a sign-in detected email with the device details. If it was you, ignore it. If it was not, you have a heads-up right away.

What the email contains

  • The device: browser and OS, or the native app.
  • The location: city if Voysey can tell.
  • The time of sign-in.
  • A link to your Active sessions page.

If it was not you

  1. Open the link in the email, or go to your Account page.
  2. In Active sessions, sign the unfamiliar device out.
  3. Change your password.
  4. Consider reviewing the other sessions to make sure they are all yours.
Only the first sign-in from a device triggers an alert

Once a device has signed in once and stays signed in, subsequent sessions from it are quiet. Getting an alert means a genuinely new device, worth a look.
