Add music and score

Audio & voice·4 min read·Updated 4 months ago

Voysey can compose original music for your production. You describe the cue you want, and it writes something to match.

Describe the cue

Open the Assets gallery and go to the Score & Music tab. Describe what you need, including the mood, tempo, and instruments, for example "tense and slow, low strings, building." Send it and Voysey generates a cue you can preview.

Want more control?

Switch from Standard to Advanced to write your own lyrics, or leave them blank for an instrumental, and to spell out the style in detail. Each prompt produces one cue, so generate again to hear other options.

Use it in your production

When you like a cue, bring it into your production and place it on a scene. You can set how it sits, for example as underscore beneath the action or as featured music, then balance it against dialogue in the mixer.

Tip

Describe the feeling, not just the genre. "Hopeful but uncertain, slowly building" gives Voysey more to work with than a single style word.
