Your library and the reader

Books by Voysey·4 min read·Updated last month

Every book you have finished lives in your library. From there you can open a book, read it in the reader, or send it to any of the extras.

Your library

Open Library to see everything you have made. Filter pills across the top let you narrow the view:

  • All shows every book you own.
  • Ready shows the books you can open right now.
  • Making shows the books Voysey is writing.
  • Published shows the ones you have shared to the public catalogue.

Tap any book to open its delivery page: cover, blurb, chapters, and the extras (read, print, audiobook, publish) all in one place.

The reader

Open a book and tap Read to jump into the full-screen reader. It is designed to get out of your way once you are in the pages.

  • Chapters. Open the chapter menu to jump anywhere in the book. Your current chapter is highlighted.
  • Bookmarks. Tap the bookmark icon to save your place. Come back to the reader any time and pick up where you left off.
  • Full screen. Everything but the text fades back so nothing pulls your attention out of the story.

On your phone

The site works on any browser, but Books by Voysey also has iOS and Android apps if you prefer to read in a native app. The apps use the same account, so your library and bookmarks come with you.

Reading on an e-reader

Every finished book comes with an EPUB file you can send to a Kindle, Kobo, or any other e-reader that reads EPUBs. Look for the download option on the book''s delivery page.
