Choosing a content type

When you start something new you choose a content type. This shapes the tools you get and the kind of output Voysey produces, so it is worth picking the closest fit.

The types

• Film: a full cinematic story with scenes, shots, and camera angles. Use this for narrative video at length.
• Short film: the same filmmaking tools, focused on a shorter, tighter piece.
• Novel: long form writing, formatted ready for e-readers and print.
• Audiobook: narrated audio. Choose a voice and let Voysey read your story aloud.
• Music: original tracks and scores.
• YouTube: video shaped for the platform.
• Social: short, vertical, mobile first video.

Not sure which to pick?

Pick the closest fit and start. You can always begin a fresh production in another type later, and the characters, voices, and assets you have built can come along.
