Work with scenes and shots
Open a film production to work on it. The Overview gives you the whole film at a glance, and the editor is where you shape individual shots.
Find your way through the film
The Overview shows your scenes as numbered tiles, in order. Open the editor and you will see every shot laid out in a strip along the bottom, with thin dividers marking where one scene ends and the next begins. Each shot tile shows its identifier and timestamp.
Open a shot
Click a shot tile in the strip to jump to it, or step through with the previous and next controls. The shot you are on shows its details, such as its type, its lens, and which take is starred as the current reference.
Work in order
Get the key shots of one scene looking right before you move on. Working scene by scene keeps your story building in order and makes it easy to see how it flows.
The vanity cards that play before your story appear at the very start of the shot strip, so you can always see exactly how your film opens.
