Insert an object with a Reference

A Reference is a reusable piece of your work (a character, a prop, a location) pinned once so you can stack it into any scene. On the canvas, you can drop a Reference straight into an image, and Voysey places it while keeping the subject's identity intact.

Step by step

1. Open the image on the canvas.
2. Open the References drawer from the side rail.
3. Find the Reference you want. Search by name, or filter by kind (character / prop / location).
4. Drag it onto the canvas at roughly the position you want.
5. Voysey composites the subject into the scene, matching the lighting and perspective.

Why References instead of a fresh prompt

When you have a specific character in mind (the same person on page 1 and page 40) a fresh prompt gives you a different-looking person each time. A Reference carries the identity forward, so the same character appears everywhere you place them.
