Voysey's tone is not matching how I want to work

Voysey tunes its conversational style to fit yours over a handful of sessions. If the tone does not feel right, there are three ways to bring it back.

1. Check what Voysey thinks it has learned

Send /profile in any chat. The reply tells you exactly what Voysey is currently set to: the kind of partner it is being, how verbose, how it paces, and how confident it is in that reading.

If the listed style is wildly off, the profile probably needs to be reset. If only one trait is off, pin it.

2. Pin a single trait

If only one thing is wrong (replies are too long, too short, too formal, too eager to disagree) pin that one trait with /override <setting> <value>. A pin holds. The inferred profile won't move it back.

Quick fixes:

• Replies are too long → /override verbosity terse
• Replies feel too clinical → /override pushback_tolerance medium
• Voysey uses too much jargon → /override jargon_comfort comfortable
• Voysey keeps trying to lead when you want it to follow → /override secure_base_type executor

3. Restart calibration

If your work has shifted recently (new kind of project, different collaborator, different mood) the older profile probably is not the right starting point. Send /recalibrate. Voysey keeps the traits it had learned as a low-confidence starting point, then re-confirms them from your next sessions.

If it still does not fit

Try a layered approach: /recalibrate first, then pin one or two traits with /override right away so Voysey starts from your declared preferences plus a clean confidence count.
