AI chat while writing
Writing·3 min read·Updated 2 months ago
The AI chat in the manuscript editor floats over the writing rather than eating a column. Ask about a passage, request a different angle on a scene, ask what a character might do next. The chat is there when you want it, out of the way when you do not.

How it is different from the main studio chat
The manuscript chat is scoped to the chapter you are in. It sees what you have written, and Voysey replies with that context in mind, so "tighten this paragraph" or "what does she notice next" land on the right passage without you pasting anything.
Common uses
- Ask Voysey to draft the next paragraph in your voice.
- Request a different mood on a passage, like "take this darker."
- Get an outline or beat check for the chapter.
- Talk through a character's motivation in a specific scene.
Chat suggestions flow into the accordion
If Voysey proposes text changes from the chat, they land in the changes accordion so you can accept or reject them the same way as any other revision.
